Best-selling author Lauren Conrad (who ever thought those two would be in the same sentence?!) told Seventeen magazine she knew she was being cheated on by a number of her high-profile boyfriends while she was on The Hills. The reality-TV star dated Jason Wahler, Stephen Colletti and shortly Brody Jenner.

“I knew back then [that] I was being cheated on. I overlooked it,” Conrad, who just celebrated her 24th birthday, told Seventeen Magazine. “The more confident me has come to the point where I’ve finally realized it’s not something that everyone does. It’s not okay to have your guy hook up with someone else. You deserve more.” You tell them Lauren. She also said she lives more of a double life now, separating her TV and real-life persona. That’s probably healthy.

Lauren Conrad will unveil her top style tips in Lauren Conrad Style, to be published by Harper Collins in the fall of 2010. The book will not only feature new and never-before-seen photos of the fashion icon, but the former MTV “Hills” star will show readers exactly how to interpret her classic and cool style into their lives. “I am really excited to write a style guide,” said Conrad, who designs an affordable clothing line for Kohl’s, in a release. “I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. Two reality shows were enough for Lauren Conrad.

In Touch recently reported that MTV has offered the former Laguna Beach and Hills star, 23, a Newlyweds-style reality show if she and actor-beau Kyle Howard tie the knot.

“No,” Conrad told Usmagazine.com Wednesday when asked if the tabloid report was true.

Conrad — who attended Nanette Lepore’s NYC fashion show — told Us it’s been “nice” not having the cameras follow her every move.

She added that she probably won’t watch the sixth season of The Hills, which begins Sept. 29 and stars frenemy Kristin Cavallari.

“When you’ve been a part of a show, it’s different to watch,” she said. “It takes the entertainment factor out of it.”

What qualifies Lauren Conrad to be a guest judge on America’s Next Top Model alongside Tyra Banks? Well, she has designed her own clothing line and hired models for runway shows; she’s handled castings for photo shoots and fittings while working for Teen Vogue and People’s Revolution. She’s also a spokesperson for Avon’s mark line, a fashionable fixture at N.Y. Fashion Week and has been the subject of many a magazine spread.

Not to mention she’s a longtime fan of the CW’s model competition. “I don’t watch a lot of TV, but it is one of the few shows I watch. I’m such a fan of Tyra. So when they contacted me, I said yes,” Conrad tells PEOPLE. “I knew it would be a great experience. [Working with the Top Model judges including Miss J Alexander and Nigel Baker] was a treat.”

What wasn’t quite as easy, breezy or beautiful about the experience was the responsibility of taking one contestant out of the running and ending her runway dreams. “That’s the part I hated,” Conrad says. “It was so hard judging someone as every girl had qualities that should allow them to continue on. I am one of those people that wish they could all be winners.”

Conrad’s episode, which airs tonight on the CW (8 p.m. EST), features a classic ANTM challenge — the nude photo shoot. The contestants posed topless with jockeys and racehorses at the Santa Anita Park racetrack.

Not so standard is the season’s twist which required all of the participants less than 5′7″-tall. But Conrad approves of the change. “I love the twist. I think women of all sizes are beautiful, so it is refreshing to see models of different heights. It’s a bit more relatable to us short girls.”

There were more than a few surprises at Sunday night’s Teen Choice Awards. And while we weren’t expecting to see Miley Cyrus work the pole (or Spencer Pratt lose the Choice Villain honors to Gossip Girl’s Chuck Bass Ed Westwick), we kinda had a feeling Lauren Conrad would take home the Choice TV Female Reality Star title again. And we were right!

Yep, despite walking away from the reality TV spotlight to focus on fashion, writing and (of course!) her bf Kyle Howard, LC still managed beat out fellow femmes — like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton — for the win, AND helped score another “Choice TV Reality Show” victory for The Hills. (Take THAT Jon & Kate!)

Lauren? Just wanted to say congrats! Guess it’s safe to say you’ve still got that “star” quality! Now, if only there were some way you could take that talent to the big-screen … (OH. RIGHT! There is!)

America’s Next Top Model is getting a little fiercer this year with reality fashionistas Kim Kardashian and Lauren Conrad set to appear in cycle 13 as celebrity judges.

Are they joining full-time to replace departed supermodel judge Paulina Porizkova? Here’s what we’re hearing…

Per the CW, Kim and Lauren will be doing one episode each. Look for Lauren to take her seat at the judges table Sept. 16, while Kim Kardashian stops by Oct. 21.

But those two aren’t the only big names dropping by for a visit! Top Model fans can also expect to see catwalkers Chanel Iman (Sept. 9), China Chow (Sept. 30), Josie Maran (Oct. 7) and Kirsty Hume (Oct. 28) as guest judges this season, and CW star Jessica Lowndes makes an appearance on Oct. 31. 90210’s Adrianna won’t be judging, but she does put the girls’ “interviewing skills” to the test.
