Lauren Conrad hit one of her favorite haunts, Beacher’s Madhouse at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, with a group of girlfriends recently. The former reality star, clad in all black, grabbed a front table and got down to songs like “Sweet Child of Mine” and “I’m the Ish.” Though focused on her friends, Conrad did get excited to see former Hills costar Frankie Delgado, giving him a huge hug when he came by to say hello. After a fun-filled night, the designer made an early exit, leaving around 1 a.m.

But Conrad is more than a fabulous outfit. She released a three-part book series about a girl who moves to L.A. and becomes the star of a reality show. I wonder where she got that idea from? Now that her dating life slowed down, she plans on releasing another three-book series called The Fame Game. Maybe that will be about a retired reality star who finds a fashion website.

Lauren Conrad had a pleasant conversation with ex Derek Hough during a night out at Beacher’s Madhouse in Hollywood. The designer was fairly reserved, dancing occasionally to the music. But she seemed giddy when he approached her table around midnight, giving him a huge hug hello and touching his face with her hands. Though they were friendly throughout the evening, an onlooker says, “It didn’t appear like they were rekindling anything romantically.”

Also at the show: Miley Cyrus, who spent her night dirty dancing with her beau Liam Hemsworth. Before she arrived, the Aussie actor started his evening enjoying some quality time at the club with brother Chris Hemsworth. And Joe Jonas took in the show with his usual posse of guy friends.

No party animals here! Lauren Conrad flew under the radar at West Hollywood’s Trousdale lounge over the weekend, keeping close to friends and refraining from alcohol. The designer – dressed in black pants and a black blazer and wearing a black Chanel bag – spent most of her evening in the back VIP room with a few pals, venturing into the main room with a girlfriend every so often. The star loosened up as the night went on, laughing and talking to some guy friends until about 1:25 a.m., when she left with her girls.

Looking for love – or just a friend? While out at Beacher’s Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood Saturday, Lauren Conrad was “very flirty” with Glee‘s Cory Monteith – and at one point, appeared to give the actor her number. When she wasn’t chatting up the cute Canuck, Conrad, clad in a black tank top, skirt, blazer and Chanel bag, danced in her seat, chatted with friends and sipped on a cocktail. Later in the evening, her former maybe-flame Derek Hough came by, and the two hugged and had a friendly conversation before parting ways. The star finished the night with champagne, and stayed until the club closed.
