Immediately after “The Hills” ended its six-season run on Tuesday (July 13), the show’s original star, Lauren Conrad, stopped by its aftershow to reminisce about her time in the spotlight.

“I’m just really proud I was able to be a part of it,” she said. “It was a fun show to do. … There’s never, like, a moment I really regret. When you choose to share your life with an audience, you share it all.”

And that includes the bad times, like one dark day during her stint at Teen Vogue. “I think that my worst day was — and I feel bad saying it, because she’s here now — the day I met Kelly Cutrone and she made me cry [when I needed tickets for a fashion show],” she said. But all is well now between the two: “I love Kelly,” she added.

Not only did working at Teen Vogue give LC the chance to meet Cutrone, it also gave her one very famous label: the girl who didn’t choose Paris and instead chose Jason Wahler. What would she do if faced with that decision now? “Always choose Paris! Always!” she laughed.

She added that she learned “a lot” about herself while with Jason. “You go through lots of different relationships, [and I realized I should] be a more independent person. Don’t lose yourself in a relationship. Always choose Paris.”

It wouldn’t have been a “Hills” aftershow if the topic of Heidi Montag didn’t come up, and LC remained loyal to her onetime bestie, although she was a bit wistful. “I think there’s only so much you can do and you have to let go,” she explained. “You have to give your friends your blessing and let them live their lives.”

Were you happy to see Lauren Conrad back with her former “Hills” castmates?

Lauren Conrad paid a visit to Kathy Griffin’s My Life On The D-List not too long ago, to give Kathy and her mother some advice about making a muu-muu.

Little did Lauren know, she was about to get spoofed, as Kathy Griffin proclaimed herself as the new Hills girl, on a little parody called The Hills Adjacent.

It starts off with a mock-Hills opening over some music in makeshift MTV style, while Kathy narrates on how it was her scheme to get Lauren and her mother together.

Then it quickly cuts to the scene with Lauren, Kathy’s mom, and Kathy asking whether the two wanna go get something to eat later, but Lauren’s got other plans.

Thereafter, Kathy is seen slurping her drink loudly and for the longest time, before Lauren and her mom decide to go about without her.

In the end, Kathy illustates how Lauren brings on so much drama, Kathy feels like she’s Stephanie Pratt, and Kathy’s mom is Audrina.

For Kathy, it’s so unfair.

Kohl’s Department Stores is launching LC Lauren Conrad, a contemporary lifestyle
brand for women, in approximately 300 Kohl’s stores and Kohls.com this fall.

She can’t live without the website Popsugar (how “Hills-y” of her), and her favorite social network is Twitter (follow her!) because it’s easy to use and you can access it from your phone. She doesn’t really play online games and her favorite viral video is also one of mine - Bizkit the Sleepwalking Dog. So now that we’ve revealed all Lauren’s answers, I deem that she passes this test.

I was given the amazing opportunity to interview Lauren Conrad at her book signing in Naperville, Illinois on Saturday, June 20. The interview touches on Lauren’s new collection, LC Lauren Conrad, her original Lauren Conrad Collection, her current job, what she hopes the future brings, future TV and movie plans for “L.A. Candy” and what her biggest lesson learned was after being on reality television. Thanks so much to Lauren Conrad, Kathy Conrad and Melissa Bruno for allowing me to conduct this interview! Hope you enjoy it!

Lauren Conrad is officially a novelist. The former “Hills” star just released her debut novel, “L.A. Candy,” to the masses, but if the plot sounds much like her own life, Conrad assures her fans out there that this is a work of pure fiction.

“I didn’t take anything specifically that happened to me. The only thing that I did was … it was a way to show not necessarily me but just the other side of being on a show like ours,” Conrad told MTV News. “For everyone that’s done it I think you see one side and you don’t see the other. It’s kind of an interesting story to tell.”

The plot revolves around a girl named Jane Roberts who moves to Hollywood and eventually gets her own reality show, which bears the same name as the book. She ends up working at an events company and it features all of the ups and downs of Jane’s personal and professional lives.

So, if you’re still not convinced that it’s all made up — or you’re one of the readers trying to decipher which characters are based on her friends from “The Hills” — think again. Conrad insists these are characters she concocted on her own.

“I think people already think some of the characters are based on certain characters, but the thing is, I think everyone has certain people in their life,” she said. “Everyone has someone they really don’t get along with. Everyone has a best friend. They have their parents. They have all these different people in their life and so does this character [Jane] and they all represent different people who change you.”
