Spending a Friday night out on the town, Lauren Conrad and boyfriend Kyle Howard were spotted leaving Crown Bar in West Hollywood last evening (December 11).

The former reality TV star that seems to be flying under the radar as of late looked happy to be out as she and her beau made their way through a crowd of gawking onlookers.

As for the absence from the public spotlight, perhaps Ms Conrad has been busy working on her first style book - which is rumored to be published next fall.

Of the book, Lauren says, “I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous.”

Never one to miss out on a publicity opportunity, Lauren Conrad was spotted hanging out at the Samsung Behold II launch in Hollywood last night (November 18).

The “LA Candy” bestselling author looked lovely as she arrived at Boulevard3, sporting a short black dress with a black cardigan and black peep-toe heels.

In related news, it was just revealed that Miss Conrad is currently working on a new book about style.

“I am really excited to write a style guide,” LC told in a press release. “I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous.”

It was a mini “Hills” reunion last night (November 11) as Lauren Conrad was spotted mingling with Lauren “Lo” Bosworth and Stephanie Pratt at the launch of the Assassin’s Creed II video game.

The former MTV reality star looked excited to see her old partners in crime as they posed for the paparazzi outside Voyeur nightclub in West Hollywood.

LC sported a white minidress along with a sparkly black jacket while Lo opted for a sleeveless black dress and Stephanie wore a glittery black mini.

Following the video game festivities, the two Laurens headed over to Katsuya restaurant for some girl time and grub while Miss Pratt went her separate way.

Getting all glammed up for a night on the town, Lauren Conrad was on hand for the Avon Foundation for Women Gala in New York City on Tuesday (October 27).

Looking sexy in a Herve Leger dress, the former “Hills” hottie mingled with fellow celebs on-hand, posing for pictures alongside the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Courteney Cox.

Meanwhile, Miss Conrad is among the rest of us, as she’s currently gearing up for the Halloween holiday.

Of her costume plans, she tells, “I’m going to be a clown! I’m not going the sexy route, really - it’s almost like a jester clown. Tights that are black and white and a tutu and suspenders and funny makeup.”

Continuing to expand her presence in the fashion industry, Lauren Conrad was spotted at the Fall 2009 Denim Tour with Lucky Magazine last night (October 20).

The “L.A. Candy” bestselling author looked to be in good spirits as she arrived at the Bar Marmont located inside the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.

And of course Miss Conrad was looking top-notch, sporting a black blazer with a white blouse, grey skirt, and black and white strappy heels.

With the overwhelming success of her novel (and soon-to-be-movie), as well as her penchant for fashion, it looks like Lauren’s days of television are far behind her.

Spending up some of her hard-earned cash, Lauren Conrad was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills yesterday (October 15) doing a little retail therapy.

Joined by her gal pal Lauren Bosworth, the “L.A. Candy” bestselling author looked lovely as she strolled past the paparazzi, sporting a yellow tank top with slim fit dark wash jeans and tan strappy sandals.

Not to be outdone, Lo Bosworth also looked fabulous during the shopping outing, opting for a black and white tie-dye-style top paired with a black skirt and black heels.

In related news, it sounds Miss Bosworth was only kidding when she told press she was thinking of starring in the film adaptation of “L.A. Candy.” She told press, “It was more of a joke than anything. We were on the red carpet together and they were like, ‘Who do you want to be in the movie?’ I would love to make a cameo, but I don’t think I could handle a big role because I’m not an actress. A cameo would be really fun.”

Out for a retail session, Lauren Conrad was spotted as she left the Intermix store along Robertson Boulevard in Beverly Hills on Thursday (October 8).

Following her shopping session, the former “Hills” hottie had an amusing reaction to a photographer taking a tumble as she strolled out to her nearby car.

Meanwhile, LC recently spoke of her love for fashion, saying, “This is what I love. It’s kind of why I did everything else. When I’m doing sketches or going through color swatches, that’s the best time for me.”

“I’ve learned that something will always go wrong in production. I’ve learned that you should always go with your gut, and it’s not important to please everybody,” she said, adding, “Just have fun with it.”

Taking a personal timeout midway through the week, Lauren Conrad was spotted treating herself to a luxurious afternoon in Beverly Hills yesterday (October 7).

The “L.A. Candy” author looked lovely as she meandered around the swanky neighborhood in search of some personal pampering and retail therapy opportunities.

First, Lauren hit up the Kate Somerville Skin Care Clinic where she spent around two hours undergoing some beautification treatments.

From there it was on to the high-end boutiques of Beverly Hills to comb the racks for some new duds and accessories.
